  • Khibiny's RDW server — 4 pcs.

Delivery period: 2025.

Equipment status: The Khibiny RDW servers are included in the Unified Register of Russian Radioelectronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The equipment is optimized for deliveries under 44-FZ and 223-FZ and meets the information security requirements for government information systems.

Objective: to create a computing infrastructure for a medical information platform

The leading scientific, practical and telemedicine organization, part of the healthcare structure, is the flagship of the introduction of AI in Russian healthcare.

22 national standards in the field of AI application in healthcare have been developed (including GOST R 59921-2021), as well as methodologies for testing the quality, accuracy and safety of AI at all stages of its life cycle, developments that were previously absent in world practice.

Today, 17 medical image analysis services are available on the medical information platform, which help doctors find signs of osteoporosis, breast cancer, pneumonia and other diseases.

The key tasks that needed to be solved when creating the infrastructure:

  • processing millions of medical images (X-ray, CT, MRI, mammography) per day;
  • ensuring round-the-clock availability of AI services for doctors from 74 regions;
  • centralized storage and analysis of large volumes of medical data;
  • compliance with information security requirements for government information systems.

Solution: 4 Khibiny RDW servers

The competition committee of the leading scientific, practical and telemedicine organization, part of the healthcare structure, selected the Khibiny RDW servers according to the following criteria:

  • the presence of the registry conclusion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation – compliance with import substitution requirements for public procurement;
  • high performance for AI tasks: servers are built on a proprietary motherboard with the C741 chipset, equipped with Intel Xeon processors of the fourth and fifth generations with a matrix acceleration module for artificial intelligence tasks;
  • support for up to 32 DDR5 RAM modules with a frequency of up to 5,600 MT/s is sufficient volume for processing large amounts of medical data;
  • high-speed disk subsystem: NVMe U.2/U.3, SATA and SAS support with the possibility of "hot" replacement;
  • Integrated 4 x 10GbE SFP+ (Intel x710) network interfaces for high-speed transmission of medical images.
  • remote management via the IPMI port with support for OpenBMC, Redfish, KVM Over IP – the possibility of centralized monitoring and administration of servers of the distributed infrastructure of the medical information platform.
  • Fault tolerance: redundant 1600-2200 Watt power supplies and hot-swappable fans (N+2).

Khibiny's 4 RDW servers are deployed in the computing center of a leading scientific, practical and telemedicine organization within the healthcare structure. The equipment operates under the control of Russian system software and ensures the functioning of a medical information platform integrated with the Unified Radiological Information System (ERIS).

The result: the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into practical medicine

Khibiny's 4 RDW servers have been put into operation. The use of productive registry equipment allowed:

  • process more than 14 million radiation examinations using neural networks;
  • provide access to 1,8 thousand medical organizations in 74 regions of Russia to 17 proven artificial intelligence services for processing medical images;
  • analyze medical images with accuracy above 95%, reducing diagnostic time and reducing the burden on radiologists;
  • to form a regulatory framework: 28 national standards have been developed, six of which entered into force in 2026, regulating the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare;
  • to create a methodology for assessing the quality and safety of AI at all stages of its life cycle.

RDW Computers technology introduces artificial intelligence technologies into practical medicine, providing doctors with modern decision support tools, and patients with fast and accurate diagnostics.

Why RDW Computers is suitable for medical organizations and AI projects
