The experience of Russian vendors in import substitution: the case of RDW Computers at the Tadviser conference.

The topic of the conference, held on the site of the Tadviser technology and supplier selection portal on February 16, was the unique experience of Russian vendors in terms of import substitution.

The vast majority of solutions presented at the conference are the results of work at a serious technological level. Based on the brand's philosophy and its own import substitution strategy, RDW Computers shared its practice of seamless transition from import to domestic product. But the stages of anger and rejection have already been passed. Companies are looking for opportunities to implement their tasks with the help of import-substituting technologies. Market participants – companies from specific sectors of the economy, presented multifunctional technological platforms, hardware and cloud solutions. At the same time, all representatives of the industry have the same standards set by the state.

In his speech at the conference, Denis SALIY, Head of the Kaliningrad Region Representative Office under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow, noted cooperation with RDW Computers as an example of successful experience in organizing technological production in the city of Gusev. He appealed to all participants of the conference to continue developing such production facilities in the Kaliningrad region.
