The Russian PC manufacturer is easily notified

If a person with a concentrated expression suddenly appears on your life path, know that this is a Russian computer manufacturer. Today, any of the branches of the domestic economy is going through the most dramatic times. But this is the face of the pain map, according to which Russian office equipment is trying to enter the expanse of the IT market to its consumer.

The first full working week after the May holidays began for the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with another puzzle: laying the "green corridor". It is through him that the most popular products of our time will go to our country. The one that, alas, is not yet produced either in Russia or on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), either in overwhelming quantities or with proper quality. We are talking about tablets, smartphones, laptops and computers.

At the meeting, statesmen puzzled over how to make it easier to import all of the above devices into our country and how to reduce customs requirements for the pillars of the Russian economy - backbone enterprises and organizations. Those that use cryptography tools and massively assemble Russian-made computers. It seems that a way out has been found. In the bowels of the Government, the right to issue special permits was found. Although this measure is temporary, it unties the hands of industry associations. And now every self-respecting Russian computer manufacturer must submit an application in the prescribed form to the Center for Licensing, Certification and Protection of State Secrets of the FSB of Russia.

The decree of the Government of the Russian Federation has already been signed. It gives the right to enter the permissive list to four IT associations and two ANO.

Admittedly, the decision will affect the mitigation of the requirements for the provision of notification information to the customs authorities (notification of the manufacturer of the goods on its technical and cryptographic characteristics drawn up in accordance with the approved form) in respect of imported equipment only under two conditions. First, if Russian-made office equipment cannot be assembled without these components. Secondly, if a Russian manufacturer of computer equipment is included in the "list of favorites"; system-forming enterprises, approved by the Government Commission for Improving the Sustainability of Economic Development.

Since April 1, 2022, the list of favorites has been expanded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to 1100 enterprises. In Moscow alone, 21 enterprises operate in the field of the radio-electronic industry, and there are much more of them nationwide. Unfortunately, our company, which is currently undergoing its formation, is not in this "list of favorites". The caliber we have, apparently, is still too small for system formation. But since the force majeure that has already arisen has deployed government support from disparate individuals towards the united industry associations, perhaps we too; a Russian computer manufacturer should take a closer look at membership in one of them. What do you think?
