TASKS

The Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology" is a federal institution of the Russian Ministry of Health that unites a network of rehabilitation and balneological centers throughout the country.

The following tasks were assigned to OFT Computers:

  • To carry out a complete renewal of workplaces, taking into account the specifics of medical institutions and the distributed branch structure.
  • To ensure compliance with the requirements of RF PP No. 878, all supplied equipment must be included in the Unified Register of Russian Radioelectronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
  • Create a unified hardware and software stack that reduces the cost of operation and technical support.

 

SOLUTION

At the pre-project analysis stage, OFT Computers specialists conducted an audit of the current infrastructure, identified the needs of each branch and prepared a solution combining compliance with the Ministry of Industry and Trade register with an optimal ratio of productivity and cost.

FEATURES

  • Import substitution. The project is implemented entirely on domestic solutions - from the hardware platform to the operating system. The RDW ARM with the pre-installed Astra Linux Special Edition operating system with built-in mandatory access control, certified by the FSTEC, provides secure processing of patients' personal data (FZ-152). 100% of the equipment sold is included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which fully complies with RF PP No. 878 and removes regulatory risks.
  • Unification of equipment. A single hardware platform and a single OS on all 162 workstations make it possible to centralize configuration management, updates, and security policies through Astra Linux group policy tools.
  • Switching to IP telephony. The deployment of 80 Qtech VoIP phones laid the foundation for building a unified corporate telephone network between branches with call routing, voicemail, and integration with medical information systems.
