The Russian technology company Selectel, which provides cloud infrastructure services and data center services, asked a reasonable question: do Russian companies have enough Russian computer equipment? After all, back in 2022, 50% of companies called the lack of equipment for building their own IT infrastructure the main technological challenge of our time. By IT infrastructure, of course, we mean servers, data storage systems (DSS), equipment for providing remote access to the desktop, and so on.

The situation, of course, has made changes in the range of equipment and in the cost of the solutions themselves, but there are no insurmountable problems with the availability of equipment.

All thanks to - Russian cloud providers. The ones that provide customers with remote access to their servers and data storage systems. There is evidence that in 2022, 30% of Russian business representatives increased their consumption of cloud providers' services.
