THE RUSSIAN MANUFACTURER AND THE FIRST CONFERENCE OF THE PARTNER "BASALT SPO"

The BaseALT team gathered more than 100 partner companies, the number of participants exceeded 300 people. Within the framework of the flagship session, representatives of «Basalt SPO» told about the updated partner program, the latest changes in the product line, highlighted the key provisions of the licensing policy, considered issues of interaction with training centers and certification of partner engineers and teachers of training centers.

The other two discussions were devoted to evaluating joint achievements and adjusting work plans with distributors, integrators, technology and service partners. The discussion touched upon the transition from import substitution to technological sovereignty, the prospects for the development of domestic hardware and software platforms, the tasks of information security and data protection, the creation of Russian application software packages.

Results of 2022

Roman Myskin, Commercial Director of "Basalt SPO", said that the business had been developing successfully last year. Significant financial growth has been achieved, turnover has increased by more than 2.7 times compared to 2021.

The partner base expanded, but its growth was not as large as the growth of financial indicators. The total number of partners has increased by 30%, and the number of active employees has increased by 50%. This indicates the growth of partner competencies and the possibility of partners to independently, without involving vendor resources, perform complex work, advise customers and implement large-scale projects that have become a reality.

According to the results of a study commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Alt operating systems are among the top three operating systems most popular among Russian consumers and developers of application software. More than 300 thousand servers and workstations in 83 regions of the Russian Federation started working in 2022 on Alt operating systems. The company also took first place in the first Russian rating of Russian operating systems according to Cnews.

The successful promotion of the Alt OS was also facilitated by the fact that the increase in prices for products "Basalt SPO" did not exceed 10% last year, which is below the inflation rate. The company manages to keep prices at an acceptable level due to the constant increase in sales volumes due to the high quality and reliability of the OS, as well as due to effective work with partners.
