Warranty service and post-warranty repair of RDW Computers products is carried out at Authorized Service Centers of RDW Technology

The warranty period for the equipment is 3 * years from the date of sale (transfer of the equipment to the Customer). If the date of sale cannot be established, the warranty period is determined from the date of production by the serial number of the equipment.

Warranty obligations apply only to the original configuration of the equipment. The manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations for components that are not in the original configuration and that were used to improve the characteristics of the equipment (increasing memory, replacing the processor or drive, etc.).

Warranty service includes free replacement or repair of faulty equipment components during the warranty period through a network of authorized service centers and partners. Delivery of faulty equipment to the service center and back is carried out by and at the expense of the Customer.

Repair (replacement) is carried out within 30 (thirty) working days from the date of delivery of the faulty equipment to the manufacturer's service center. The return of the restored equipment is carried out by and at the expense of the Customer.

Warranty service does not include the recovery of Customer's data or software, the software is restored to the extent pre-installed by the manufacturer for this model. Service centers and the manufacturer are not responsible for the safety of data and information as part of the fulfillment of warranty obligations.

When carrying out warranty repairs, the manufacturer reserves the right to replace the failed components with similar components (not inferior to the replaced ones in their technical characteristics). Defective parts that have been replaced as part of the warranty service become the property of the manufacturer.

*The company provides 1 year warranty by default. Further warranty support of the equipment is a paid option.

Warranty obligations do not apply:

  • for minor defects or deviations from technical characteristics that do not affect the functionality of the equipment;
  • to resolve issues related to setting up, configuring and administering hardware and software;
  • for consumables, packaging, mounting devices, cables, data carriers (disks, memory cards, etc.), batteries (batteries), etc.;
  • to provide and install more modern versions of BIOS, drivers or software;
  • to reset security functions, passwords, etc.;
  • for the provision of similar equipment for the recovery period.

The equipment warranty does not apply in the case of:

  • violations of the rules of transportation, operation or storage of equipment;
  • detection of mechanical damage;
  • removing seals or markings from equipment and its components;
  • equipment damage due to force majeure (fire, natural disasters, etc.);
  • equipment malfunctions caused by contamination, ingress of foreign objects, liquids, insects, animals;
  • damage to the equipment caused by a change in the voltage or frequency of the power supply within the limits exceeding the values established by the relevant standards;
  • if the malfunction of the original components or the entire equipment as a whole is caused by the use of substandard or unintended components for this model of equipment;
  • equipment damage caused by the Customer changing the configuration of the equipment or replacing its components.
